I'm thrilled to introduce a simple yet effective method to boost your savings game - the 52-week savings challenge! The concept? As simple as it sounds. When you start working on your health and fitness to get healthy and fit, develop better habits, lose a few extra kilos or whatever the case may be, one thing you probably donโ€™t expect is how your mind transforms.โฃIโ€™ve seen people grow courageous enough to start businesses because of their fitness results (wink wink - speaking from my own experience ๐Ÿ˜‰).Iโ€™ve seen people choose to leave bad relationships from the confidence they built through fitness.โฃIโ€™ve seen 50 and 60-year-old previously unathletic people pursue fitness certifications because of how their results made them feel and the desire to pass that on to others.โฃIโ€™ve seen and helped many working mums get better (or the best) shapes of their life after they had two or more kids. I have witnessed how their mindset shifted during their health and fitness journey and became unstoppable in achieving their goals. This could be making the right choices at most meals; to do any form of workout (or just walking) that you enjoy for 20 mins a day. ๐Ÿ•’ If you think you have neither the time nor energy for your fitnessโ€ฆ let me tell you a story!Raise your hand if youโ€™ve ever caught yourself in a Netflix marathon when you know you should be getting a workout in or getting your meal prep doneโ€ฆ๐Ÿ‘‹ โ† Thatโ€™s me, raising my hand.During a stressful time a while ago, I caught myself in that loop, and it was starting to take its toll.I felt exhausted and overwhelmed! The problem is, it's easy to let these small distractions eat up the time meant for our real priorities. In my house we say that if you donโ€™t take care of the small things then they lead to bigger problems.Thatโ€™s when I decided it was time to get REAL about my priorities โ€” and give them the TIME and ATTENTION they deserve. And that meant scheduling them โ€“ yes, directly into my calendar, so they would be non-negotiable โ€” to make sure they got checked off! When you have a plan then important things have a place. I scheduled important things like workouts and prep work into blocks of time on my Google Calendar. Time blocking helped me transform my 'I wish' into 'I will' โ€” and the results? Incredible!I also empowered my support system, aka my family members, to call me out when they saw me drifting into time wasters at a time I had higher priorities. If you're struggling to make time for your health goals, let's connect. Drop me a DM or comment below, and letโ€™s talk about how you can find time for your goals.

This is draining you more than you thinkโ€ฆWhat's standing between you and your fitness goals? The reason is there. Like a shadow. Just lingering. We know it's there, but we ignore it, hoping it'll go away on its own.But these hurdles drain your energyโ€ฆ resourcesโ€ฆ and confidence. And worst yet, they reinforce the old stories we tell ourselves about our ability to change.Example:A client told me that during the pandemic, she got into the habit of having a glass of wine before dinner โ€” every single night. (Let's call her Sara.)It became habit for her. Once she got home from work, out came the wine bottle.Because Sara was trying to trying to get into better shape... that wine habit became like a shadow. BUTโ€ฆ this isn't even about the wine. It's about ANYTHING that helps you "numb out" from the dayโ€ฆ a bowl of ice cream, a couple of hours playing video games, a nighttime TV habit, or doom scrolling on your phone. At some point those habits were serving you in some way โ€” maybe they provided a temporary comfort, a distraction, or helped you escape stress.๐Ÿ‘‰ But the fact is that now, they're an obstacle between you and your goals.Do YOU have any "numbing out" habits that aren't serving you any longer?Pinpointing them is the first step. At 360 Fitness, we do NOT recommend cutting out every obstacle at the same time. And we don't hold judgement - we all get low sometimes. But if you start by targeting those unhelpful habits one by one, before you know it you'll gain a huge amount of momentum โ€” and be that much closer to crushing your goals.ANDโ€ฆ bonus! Just acknowledging those "shadows" helps take away their power.

Your health and fitness journey is about more than just physical transformation; it impacts your overall well-being, including your clarity of purpose and values. There is a relationship between having clear values and purpose for your life and the influence they have on your health and fitness journey. Most people get caught in a negative cycle of starting and stoping on their goals. If you prioritize your health and fitness you can fuel your values and purpose, creating a positive cycle of growth. Having clear values is a compass, guiding your actions and decisions. When you define the type of person you want to be, you establish a foundation for your health and fitness journey. For example, one of my clients goals is resilience, because thatโ€™s what she wants to develop she perceives the challenges she has in the gym and the process of staying consistent with life happening 1000mph with dedication and perseverance. The obstacle is the way. She knows the resilience she build in the gym will be applied to her family and business. When you align your fitness goals with your purpose, exercising and taking care of your body become a clearer investment that contribute to your overall well-being. My wife and I worked out and ate well for our mental health at first. It was our go to stress management technique. But when we had our first child purpose became clearer we wanted to lead by example. Whether your purpose is to be a role model for your family or to lead an organization , incorporating health and fitness into your purpose reinforces their importance beyond just looking good.As you take care of your body and mind, you become better equipped to live in alignment with your values and pursue your purpose with greater clarity and vitality. This positive cycle becomes a habit and accelerates personal growth.

The reason you arenโ€™t reaching fitness goals is because you keep looking for short-cuts instead of focusing on the long game...Yesterday I was talking to a busy mom about doing what she can and finding ways to integrate fitness into her day. A topic that isn't sexy and quickly glazes over anybody's eyes who's not interested in hearing it.Which got me thinking...This is what's fundamentally wrong with the whole fitness industry. We "grew up" in the space consuming marketing about losing 20lbs in 14 days, huge body transformations in a short amount of time, new diet after diet that promises quick, easy and permanent weight lossโ€ฆblah blah blahBut nobody teaches the boring concept (doing what you can in the season of life you are in) that makes all the other things possible.| "donโ€™t have time" vs. Iโ€™ll "do what I can" are very different when it comes to making a lifestyle change.| "donโ€™t have time" this is a sign you are neglecting your health. | "donโ€™t have time" is an excuse that gives you โ€œpermissionโ€ to not prioritize your health. | "donโ€™t have time" is not a fact itโ€™s a thought, a belief you have created. This whole I โ€œdonโ€™t have timeโ€ vs. Iโ€™ll โ€œdo what I canโ€ is similar to...It "should" and it "does" work.Does it or doesn't it?Do you understand or don't you? It's funny...If you were talking with a friend and they were feeling overwhelmed youโ€™d probably give them the advice to โ€œdo what you can.โ€If you were talking with your child and they were learning something new, youโ€™d probably give them the advice to โ€œkeep practicing and little by little youโ€™ll will get it.โ€Weird... it's almost like โ€œdoing what you canโ€ is important or something. Anyway,Stop avoiding the boring concept of doing what you can in the season of life you are in. Nobody can help you (nor can you help yourself) when your decision making is rooted in thoughts youโ€™ve created and not facts.

Death By ComparisonOne of the worst things you can do is compare yourself to someone else. And unfortunately, social media has created a โ€œCulture of Comparisonโ€ thatโ€™s extremely unhealthy, not to mention destructive to your fitness goals. That โ€œinfluencerโ€ with the 6-pack abs who can do pull-ups for days hasnโ€™t been on the same journey youโ€™re on. Maybe they donโ€™t have kids, a 9-5 job, endless Zoom meetings and laundry to do.In my experience, the people who say the most on social media are often the ones who are doing the least. In order to get what you want, you need to earn it with YOUR actions, not someone elseโ€™s.Same goes for the person across the room whoโ€™s lifting 200 pounds to your 75. Theyโ€™re not you. They didnโ€™t start when you started. And when they started, I guarantee they werenโ€™t lifting 200 pounds. So why should you expect to? :-)Donโ€™t believe the hype.Donโ€™t try to live up to it, either.Just do you and youโ€™ll be fine.Coach AdamP.S. Whenever you're ready, here are 3 ways I can help you.1. Results beyond what you thought possibleDo you know what to do but have trouble following through with it? Because they have a path forward and someone making sure they stick to it.If you would like to talk about how this could work for you, message me โ€˜thats meโ€™ and I will get back to you with details of how to sign up.2. Day on 1. Starting Your Fitness JourneyHello, I'm thrilled you're here and ready to embark on your fitness journey. What inspired you to take this step? When I start with a new client, we go through the following 6 points. This part takes place in the intro/consultation call.1) Identify your why & set realistic goals: We will discuss this tomorrow in more detail. This is the most important point. If you don't set this right, there is a big chance that you will fail.2) Choose activities you enjoy: Fitness doesn't have to be a chore. Pick something that brings you joy, especially at the beginning, if youโ€™re not already active. As you progress, you can add more goal specific activities to your routine.3) Begin slowly but consistently: Consistency beats perfection. Regular effort with an okay plan is often more effective than sporadic effort with a perfect plan. Avoid burnout or injury by starting with lighter workouts and gradually increasing intensity.4) Track your progress: Don't overlook tracking your progress. A journal or app can help you see your improvements over time.5) Seek support: I think this is the second most important point (after setting realistic goals and identifying your 'why'.). An accountability partner (friend, coach, colleague, partner, kid) or a community of like-minded dads can greatly boost your motivation and support.6) Be patient: It will take time, and there may sometimes be regression. You need to be patient. Remember, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Your fitness journey starts with these foundational steps, designed to guide you towards a healthier, happier life with your loved ones. What's your biggest challenge in starting your fitness journey? Let us know in the comments below!P.S. If this journey is not for you, perhaps you know a dad who would be interested. Please tag them so they can join us.#fitness #worklifebalance #healthandwellness #motivation

Are You Stuck in Your Fitness Journey? Many people want to change their fitness habits, but they get stuck and never make progress. Why is this? The answer is often fear and self-doubt. We're afraid of failing, of not being good enough, or of being judged. These fears can hold us back from taking action and making the changes we want. But here's the good news: fear is often an illusion. It's our mind playing tricks on us to keep us in our comfort zone. And self-doubt can be overcome with belief in ourselves. If you're ready to break through your fitness plateau, here are a few things you can do:* Acknowledge your fears.Don't try to pretend they're not there. Instead, name them and acknowledge their power over you.* Take small steps.Don't try to do too much too soon. Start with small, achievable goals that you can build on over time.* Celebrate your successes. No matter how small, celebrate every victory along the way. This will help you build momentum and keep you motivated.* Find a support system.Having people who believe in you and support your goals can make a big difference. Find a fitness buddy, join a support group, or work with a coach.Remember, you're not alone. Everyone experiences fear and self-doubt. But it's possible to overcome them and achieve your fitness goals. Are you ready to break through your fitness plateau? Start by acknowledging your fears, taking small steps, celebrating your successes, and finding a support system. You can do this!#fitness#motivation#inspiration#selfimprovement#selfbelief#fear#doubt#breakthrough#plateau
