Instant Dosa Mix Recipe
Instant dosa mix is a must have ingredient in your pantry, you never know when you will run out of dosa batter. At those time this comes as a saviour. Not only it taste good but you can make dosa in a jiffy. Even though it taste good, but it doesn't taste as good as freshly made batter dosa. But for a urgent it is a life saver.

For best taste and texture, you have to ferment the batter. This mix can be made and stored in your pantry shelves for many months.
The dosa made using this batter is crispy and gives nice colour as well. Taste great with chutney or sambar. You can make masala dosa as well using the batter
Ingredients for Instant Dosa Mix Recipe
- Rice Flour - 2 ½ cup (roasted)
- Urad Dal Flour - ½ cup
- Gram Flour / Kadalai Mavu / Besan - 4 tblspn
- Poha / Aval - ½ cup
- Sooji / Rava - ½ cup
- Fenugreek Seed Powder - 2 tsp
- Powdered Sugar - 1 tblspn
- Eno Fruit Salt / Baking Soda - 1 tsp (optional - check notes)

How to make Instant Dosa Mix Recipe
- Dry roast, poha, sooji and urad dal flour for few mins. Take it in a blender and powder finely.
- Roast rice flour and besan lightly and set aside.
- Now take all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Store in a air tight container.
- When making dosa, take the flour and add in water to make a batter. Add in salt and mix well.
- Heat tawa, spoon the batter in and spread it into a thin dosa. Drizzle oil around the sides and cook till golden, flip over and cook for few more mins. serve.
Notes:
1)If you are making the dosa without fermenting, then you have to add either eno fruit salt or baking soda.
2)If you are fermenting the dosa batter, don't need to add the eno salt or baking soda. I strongly suggest you to ferment the batter before making the dosa for taste.

Ingredients
- 2 ½ cup roasted Rice Flour
- ½ cup Urad Dal Flour
- 4 tblspnGram Flour / Kadalai Mavu / Besan
- 1/ 2 cup Poha / Aval
- ½ cup Sooji / Rava
- 2 tsp Fenugreek Seed Powder
- 1 tblspn Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp optional - check notes Eno Fruit Salt / Baking Soda
