  1. At what temp should we proof at the time called for in the recipe. Ours did not rise that well in that time. Suspect it was a temp issue.

  2. Green olives? Black olives?

  1. If you've been to Schlotzsky's and you're looking for a copycat recipe... THIS IS IT!! My family LOVES this recipe! I found that WIlton cake decorating makes a set of 5 shallow pans that work perfect to make the buns! and I use the Olive Garden salad dressing that comes in a bottle from the grocery store as my ceasar dressing to brush the buns with. We paired it with Honey Dijon Kettle chips for the closest to the real thing!

  2. Well this one didn't go to well for us. Sure it was my fault. I suspect it was not warm enough for proofing and probably should have let it proof for longer at the temperature we were at. A lot of people rave about it so I'll give it another try.

  3. Made the bread using a sourdough starter and yeast. It was scary because it wasn't dough; it was batter. I was sure it was too watery! When I took it out of the oven, it was still wet inside. The cooling period is critical. I used glass pie pans to hold in heat when baking and cooling.

  4. This recipe was PERFECT! It was a bit tedious to follow "how to build the sandwich", but certainly worth the effort. I did use BREAD flour, not just regular flour. Results were fabulous. Not sure if bread flour should be indicated in recipe or not...just a thought.
